Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver dynamic and comprehensive drama/theatre lessons encompassing acting techniques, stagecraft, script analysis, improvisation, and other relevant theatrical aspects.
Facilitate student engagement through various theatrical activities, performances, rehearsals, and productions to foster creativity, self-expression, and confidence.
Guide students in exploring different theatrical styles, genres, and dramatic literature, encouraging critical thinking and appreciation for the art of theatre.
Direct and oversee theatrical productions, coordinating rehearsals, managing stagecraft, and ensuring a successful and enriching experience for students involved.
Create a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages collaboration, teamwork, and artistic exploration among students.
Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress and participation in theatre activities.
Qualifications
All applicants must possess a valid teaching license or certificate from their home country or an equivalent authorization that allows them to teach in a K-12 setting.
All applicants must hold a minimum of a Master's degree in education or a related field.
Candidates must have a minimum of five years of teaching experience, preferably in a public or private school setting.
Applicants must be currently employed as teachers in a public or private school setting.
Candidates must provide at least three professional references who can speak to their teaching abilities and character.
All selected candidates will be subject to a comprehensive background check, including verification of educational credentials and criminal history.
