Geography Teacher (ES/MS/HS)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver comprehensive and engaging geography lessons covering various geographical concepts, including physical geography, human geography, cartography, environmental studies, and geopolitical issues.

• Utilize diverse teaching methods, resources, maps, and technology to foster students' understanding of geographical principles, spatial relationships, and global perspectives.

• Encourage critical thinking, inquiry, and geographical analysis among students through case studies, research projects, and discussions on current global issues.

• Create an inclusive and interactive classroom environment that stimulates curiosity, appreciation for diverse cultures, and environmental awareness.

• Assess student learning through various assessment methods, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress and participation.

Qualifications

• All applicants must possess a valid teaching license or certificate from their home country or an equivalent authorization that allows them to teach in a K-12 setting.

• All applicants must hold a minimum of a Master's degree in education or a related field.

• Candidates must have a minimum of five years of teaching experience, preferably in a public or private school setting.

• Applicants must be currently employed as teachers in a public or private school setting.

• Candidates must provide at least three professional references who can speak to their teaching abilities and character.

• All selected candidates will be subject to a comprehensive background check, including verification of educational credentials and criminal history.
