Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Development:

  • Develop a comprehensive and engaging physics curriculum aligned with state standards, encompassing various areas of physics, including mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, optics, and modern physics.

  • Ensure that the curriculum is designed to challenge and inspire students while fostering a deep understanding of fundamental principles and scientific inquiry.


Lesson Planning and Delivery:

  • Create dynamic and interactive lesson plans that utilize diverse teaching methodologies, incorporating experiments, demonstrations, simulations, and multimedia resources to facilitate student comprehension of complex physics concepts.

    Deliver lessons that cater to diverse learning styles, encouraging critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and real-world applications of physics principles.

    Laboratory Supervision:

    Organize and oversee laboratory sessions, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and proper use of equipment, allowing students to apply theoretical concepts through hands-on experiments.

    Provide guidance and support to students during laboratory activities, fostering a safe and conducive learning environment.

    Assessment and Evaluation:

    Administer assessments and examinations to evaluate student understanding, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback on performance in a timely manner.

    Maintain accurate records of student grades, attendance, and academic progress to track individual development.

    Student Engagement and Support:

    Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation, scientific inquiry, and curiosity about physics concepts among students.

    Offer additional support and personalized guidance to students requiring extra assistance, ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.

    Professional Development and Collaboration:

    Engage in ongoing professional development activities, workshops, and collaborative sessions with colleagues to enhance teaching methodologies, curriculum design, and stay updated on advancements in physics education.

    Collaborate with fellow educators, contributing to departmental meetings, and sharing best practices to improve teaching strategies and student learning outcomes.

    Parent/Guardian Communication:

    Maintain open communication channels with parents or guardians regarding students' progress, achievements, and areas for improvement in physics studies, fostering a supportive partnership between home and school.

    Extracurricular Involvement:

    Encourage and support students' participation in extracurricular activities related to physics, such as science fairs, physics clubs, or competitions, promoting further exploration and interest in the subject beyond the classroom.


Qualifications
  • All applicants must possess a valid teaching license or certificate from their home country or an equivalent authorization that allows them to teach in a K-12 setting.

  • All applicants must hold a minimum of a Master's degree in education or a related field.

  • Candidates must have a minimum of five years of teaching experience, preferably in a public or private school setting.

  • Applicants must be currently employed as teachers in a public or private school setting.

  • Candidates must provide at least three professional references who can speak to their teaching abilities and character.

  • All selected candidates will be subject to a comprehensive background check, including verification of educational credentials and criminal history.
